Payment and Refund Policy

Last updated: 30 October 2026

Scope of the policy and the products or services it covers

This Payment and Refund Policy applies to all payments made for courses and related services offered by journeoza through our website. Our offerings focus on specialised training in live production decks and control rooms, including multi-camera switching, live broadcasting techniques, real-time video operation, and professional management of television and streaming productions. The policy covers both one-time course purchases and any subscription-based access where applicable. It governs transactions between customers in the United Kingdom and journeoza as the service provider.

Prices, currencies, taxes, and any additional charges

All prices are displayed in British Pounds Sterling (GBP) and include value added tax (VAT) at the prevailing UK rate unless otherwise stated. Additional charges may apply for optional extras such as certification materials or extended access periods. Any such fees are clearly indicated before payment is completed. Currency conversion fees imposed by your payment provider are your responsibility and are not controlled by journeoza.

Accepted payment methods, payment authorisation, and payment security

We accept major credit and debit cards, bank transfers, and approved digital payment platforms. All payments are processed through secure third-party gateways that comply with PCI DSS standards. Authorisation occurs in real time, and funds are held until the transaction is confirmed. journeoza does not store full card details. In the event of authorisation failure, you will be notified immediately and given the opportunity to retry with an alternative method.

Order, booking, or service confirmation and when a contract is formed

A contract is formed when you receive an email confirmation from journeoza following successful payment. This confirmation outlines the course details, access instructions, and applicable terms. Until this point, no binding agreement exists, and you may cancel without penalty. Access to digital course content is granted only after confirmation.

Cancellation rights and applicable cancellation periods

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, you have 14 days from the date of purchase to cancel for any reason. For digital content, cancellation rights end once you begin downloading or streaming the material. If you have started the course, a partial refund may still be available depending on progress. Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time, with access continuing until the end of the paid period.

Refund eligibility, exclusions, and non-refundable items or services

Refunds are available for cancellations within the 14-day cooling-off period provided no substantial content has been accessed. Exclusions apply to customised training sessions, promotional bundles, and completed courses. Non-refundable items include any physical materials already dispatched or digital licences that have been activated. Services involving live sessions are non-refundable once the session has occurred.

The step-by-step procedure and information required to request a refund

To request a refund, contact info@nfts.co.uk or call 01494 671234 with your order number, proof of purchase, and reason for the request. Include your full name, address, and preferred refund method. Requests must be submitted in writing via email or post to Beaconsfield Studios, Station Road, Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire HP9 1LG. We aim to acknowledge receipt within two working days.

Inspection, approval, rejection, and notification of the refund decision

Each request is reviewed within five working days. You will receive written notification of approval or rejection, including reasons if declined. Approved refunds are processed without further action on your part. Rejected requests may be appealed once with additional supporting information.

Refund method, processing time, and when funds should reach the customer

Refunds are issued using the original payment method wherever possible. Processing typically takes five to ten working days, after which funds appear in your account within an additional three to five days depending on your bank. International transactions may require extra time.

Special rules for digital content, subscriptions, services, or promotional offers where relevant

Digital course content is subject to immediate access upon confirmation, limiting the cooling-off period once consumption begins. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. Promotional offers are non-refundable beyond the standard 14-day period and may carry additional terms disclosed at purchase.

Failed payments, duplicate charges, chargebacks, and suspected fraud

Failed payments will be retried once automatically. Duplicate charges are investigated and refunded promptly upon verification. Chargebacks are treated as disputes and may result in account suspension pending resolution. Suspected fraudulent activity leads to immediate order cancellation and reporting to relevant authorities in line with UK law.

Mandatory consumer rights in the target country that the policy cannot exclude

This policy does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, UK GDPR, Data Protection Act 2018, and Payment Services Regulations. You retain the right to remedies for faulty services, including repair, replacement, or refund where services do not meet the agreed description or standard. Nothing in this policy excludes liability for death, personal injury, or fraud.
